Worshipping God and focusing on the eternal reminds us that what we are experiencing is temporary.

The love that we give to others isn’t our own love, it’s the love of Christ in us. And friends, that’s a big love! May you be rooted and established in that big love.

*This is a reminder that Encounter will not be holding service this Sunday - December 30th. We use this Sunday as a day off for our staff/volunteers and a day for us to be with family, reflecting on the year past. We will continue services on the first Sunday of the year - January 6th. 🤗See you in the New Year!!!

A huge thank you to Master Melanie Birky and Miss Erzebeth Gallegos of Star Martial Arts for equipping and empowering us during our ladies self defense class today. We now know the critical points to hit on an attacker, how to evade being grabbed and choked, and how to effectively stun an attacker before running from them. If you missed today’s class keep an eye on the Encounter Church and Star Martial Arts Facebook pages for coming events!

One week from today we will be empowering ourselves and each other with some self defense training by Master Seth Birky of Star Martial Arts!
